Ahhh.. reading... I wish I could read books, I read Twilight which was awesome!! but the only thing I read this time of year is my college textbooks, not near as interesting! I love the smell of libraries..
I have read pilgrim's progress and I have heard or Knowing God. I love systematic Theology! My Dad has that book, and it takes alot of consitration, but still read it!
'Knowing God' is a bit dry, in my opinion, but was good for a few Doctoral citations. Before starting my PhD a prof. suggested I call Dr. Packer and ask him for advice, as we both live in Greater Vancouver.
Now this was out of the blue (phone book) so his first impression was seemingly, 'Why are you bothering me youngster' but when I apologized he actually went out of his way to be helpful.
I have heard of Grudem, but cannot remember citing him. I respect you for reading Systematic Theology. That is rare nowadays.
Erickson's Christian Theology is very helpful as is Calvin's Bondage and Liberation of the Will.

I suppose you are brainy.
